DINING AT KINLOCH
As the home of Scotland's favourite cook, Kinloch is justly famed for its marvellous food. The kitchen team is headed up by Roux brothers' trained chef Marcello Tully. Marcello and Claire have worked closely on various projects in the past and share a mutual passion for the finest local and seasonal food.
In the dining-room of Kinloch's North House, crisp white linen napery, vintage silver cutlery, and perfectly polished glassware provide appropriately splendid compliments to the exceptional fare. Here, under the watchful gaze of Macdonald ancestors whose portraits line the walls, guests feast on outstanding produce from Scotland's rich seasonal larder including local poultry, game and shellfish, hot-smoked salmon from South Uist, and Buccleuch Estate beef.
Kinloch's ever-changing dinner menus (£47.95 p/p) are shaped by Claire and Marcello's personal passions and perennially popular recipe ideas. The cooking style is refreshingly straightforward – with a balance between substantial dishes and lighter options. Compelling choices for committed carnivores are offset by tempting seafood options. The excellence of the food is matched by Kinloch's outstanding wine list, featuring familiar favourites together with fine and exceptional vintages.
Dinner is served each evening from 6.30pm until 9pm.

Lunch at Kinloch is an equally memorable experience. Choose from an inspired menu (four course £21.95 or five courses £26.95). Lunch is served daily from 12.00pm until 2.30pm.

Afternoon Tea at Kinloch
Traditional afternoon tea is served in the drawing rooms by the log fires and is a true experience. From the Aultbea smoked salmon sandwiches to the fruit tartlets filled with crème patisserie to the outstanding very chocolatey cake. A full afternoon tea is £12.95 p/p.

Breakfast at Kinloch
At Kinloch, breakfast includes a health-conscious selection of muesli, fresh fruits, and local dairy yoghurts, together with porridge, kippers, Drumfearn eggs florentine, and every other traditional early-day culinary classic. Breakfast is served daily from 8am until 9.30am.
